Workshops Basic Furniture Painting and Waxing 101, using Chalk Paint® decorative paint and Soft Wax® by Annie Sloan. Sunday September 23rd - 1pm till 5pm at Echoes of Opal Studio on Main Street in Ventura. The address is 740 East Main Street, Ste.A and access to the Studio and parking is from the alley in the rear. Do you have a piece of furniture that you would love to revamp into something fabulous you can actually use? Then come and take this class and find out just how easy it is to transform a piece with no sanding and no priming needed! Bring a small piece that you can carry by yourself (yes, by yourself!) such as a chair, bedside cabinet, small table. Just make sure that it is clean and ready to paint. Chalk Paint® doesn't like Pledge!

$100 per person If your piece isn't completely painted and waxed by the time the class is over, you will need to purchase a quart of paint and/or a tin of wax to take home with you so you can finish your project at home. You will be able to complete many projects with just one quart of paint, and a tin of wax. I will also have 4oz test pot sizes of paint available to you, so you can experiement with different colors, and maybe pick out details in different color. That's lots of fun! Purchase and register online in my Shop at www.thepaintedattic.com. Be sure to leave your full name and email information when purchasing this workshop. I will have Chalk Paint®, Soft Wax® and Annie's wonderful brushes for sale after the workshop. I cannot take credit cards away from my shop yet, so please bring cash or a check with your DL number, address and phone no. Space is limited to a maximum of 12 and the workshop is filling up fast, so don't wait too long or you will have to wait for the next workshop. There is plenty of space for you all to spread out at the Studio, and I will give you initial instruction and then be walking amongst you answering questions, and demonstrating techniques. These Workshops are a lot fun! Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to meeting you and getting you started on painting with Chalk Paint®.
